Spindl Delivery

Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of the Spindl Delivery app ("the App") by couriers. The App is operated by Spindl OÜ, Estonia ("Spindl", "we"). By creating an account you agree to these terms.

1. The service

The App is a marketplace that connects restaurants and their customers with independent couriers. When a customer requests delivery, nearby online couriers may offer a delivery price and estimated time; the customer chooses an offer. Spindl is not a party to the delivery agreement between you and the customer.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and legally entitled to perform courier work in your jurisdiction. Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity on your account. One account per person.

3. Deliveries and fees

You set your own delivery price within the limits shown in the App. The accepted price is paid to you as agreed with the venue or platform operator; Spindl currently charges no commission.
Once your offer is accepted, you commit to completing the delivery promptly, safely, and with reasonable care of the goods.
Mark pickups and deliveries truthfully in the App — customers and restaurants rely on these statuses.

3.1 Position sharing

The App shares your position with us so that the distance behind your price and delivery time reflects where you actually are, rather than the coverage spot you pinned. It is required to send offers: the coverage spot is something you choose, so pricing from it would let couriers move a pin to charge more for the same journey. Measuring from your real position keeps the fee for a given job the same whoever takes it.

When it runs: while you are online with the App open, and from the moment you accept a delivery until you mark it delivered. Never while you are offline. While it runs during a delivery, a Spindl notification stays visible on your phone.
If it is unavailable: you still receive requests, but cannot send an offer until the App has a current position for you. Turning location off for the App, or leaving it off, means you cannot take work through Spindl.
What we do not do with it: we do not use your position to direct or supervise how you carry out a delivery, to choose your route, or to rate, rank, or prioritise you against other couriers. We keep only your most recent position — there is no movement history.

4. Independent contractor

You act as an independent contractor. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, agency, or partnership relationship. You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, equipment, and compliance with traffic and food-safety rules.

5. Conduct

You must not misuse the App, interfere with its operation, submit false offers or statuses, or harass customers or restaurant staff. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Liability

The App is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spindl is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or damages arising from delivery agreements between couriers and customers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time under Account → Delete account. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms with reasonable notice where practicable.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the App. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Questions: support@spindl.app. These terms are governed by Estonian law.
